Pneumatic V-shaped ball valve is a type of ball valve. Its closing element is a hemispherical body with a V-shaped opening, which has a sharp blade. During the rotation of the ball, there is a wiping effect between the closing elements, which has a strong cutting force on the medium. The V-shaped opening of the ball and the valve seat flow channel form a fan-shaped area. During the rotation process, the cross-sectional area of the flow channel can be changed to adjust the medium. It is an angle rotation regulating valve with the same sealing performance as ordinary ball valves, making it have both regulating and switching functions. It is widely used in industrial process control systems and is matched with pneumatic or electric actuators.
1. Valve body integral structure: Both clamp type and flange type V-shaped ball valves have an integral side mounted structure with strong structural rigidity, which is not easy to cause deformation and leakage.
2. Upper and lower self-lubricating bearings: The valve body is equipped with upper and lower self-lubricating bearings, which have a large contact area with the valve stem, high load-bearing capacity, low friction coefficient, and reduce the torque of the valve.
3. The valve seat can be selected as metal hard seal or PTFE soft seal according to the needs of the medium and working conditions: the sealing surface of the metal hard seal valve seat is welded with hard alloy, and the spherical surface is hardened by hard chromium plating or spray welding, ion nitriding, etc., which enhances the service life and temperature resistance of the sealing surface; Soft sealed PTFE valve seats or reinforced PTFE valve seats have good sealing performance, corrosion resistance, and a wide range of applications.
4. Economic practicality: The valve body is lightweight, the valve stem torque is small, and the corresponding specifications for pneumatic or electric actuators are small. Compared with other types of regulating valves, it is high.
5. Wide applicability of the medium: Due to the shear force between the V-shaped opening and the valve seat, as well as the smooth and round flow channel in the valve cavity, the medium is not easily accumulated in the cavity. Therefore, in addition to liquid media, it is more suitable for system control with fiber and solid particle media.
6. Small flow control: By machining the special V-shaped opening of the small-diameter valve core, small Cv value control can be achieved.
